Rev. Alexei Rukavitsa, the rector of the parish.

Born in 1979 in Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine.

In 1998, he graduated from the Higher College of Arts in Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast, specializing in choral conducting.

In 2004, after graduating from the Kharkiv Theological Seminary, he was ordained as a priest. For 18 years, he served in various dioceses of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

In November 2022, after moving to the United States, he was received into the clergy of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) and in February 2023, he was appointed to the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Jacksonville.

Hieromonk Arkady (Migunov)

Born in Russia, city of Tver, 1973

Several years after completing Tver Technical University with degree of mechanical engineer, in January 1999 he was tonsured as a monk with the name Arkady at the Novotorzhok Monastery of Boris and Gleb, city of Torzhok, Tversky region, and in February 1999 was ordained to the priesthood.

In 2006, with the blessings of Holy Patriarch Aleksey (Ridiger) and Archbishop Dmitry (Royster), he arrived in the USA to minister to Russian-speaking believers in Florida.  In December 2009 he was officially transferred to the ranks of the clergy of the Orthodox Church in America.

From November 2007 through August 2012 he was assistant priest at the English-speaking parish of St. Justin Martyr, Jacksonville, Florida, and was tasked with organizing the Russian Orthodox mission.

In September 2012, on the foundation of this mission, a new parish (Annunciation) was opened in Jacksonville, to which he was named rector.
